Panoz Esperante "Jayne" gets a roll-bar

I am planning to use my car for occasional track day events, and since it’s a convertible I wanted to get a roll-bar installed that would provide safety but also still allow the convertible top to function.

I just got the car back from my shop and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I think it looks great!

I had it powder-coated locally, and my local mechanic installed it, but the roll-bar itself came from Jason at Tubular Fabrication, who has experience with building roll-bars for Panoz cars.

For the money when new, you'd think that Panoz would have offered an automatic roll-over bar like Mercedes did back in 1989.
