Putting in a Flaming River battery disconnect inside the engine bay. Tired of removing the wheel and fender liner each time I need to disconnect the battery. Also, I believe it will be much safer in case of an emergency. Anyone else already do this?

My 2002 has battery post in the engine bay on the drivers side . I disconnect the positive there , that cable runs directly
to the battery . It would be easy to install a battery disconnect there .

Thanks for the reply, Walt. My 2004 has battery taps on the drivers side also. But they are only taps and won't disconnect the battery. This past weekend I ended up installing a Flaming River disconnect switch on the right side inner fender. Took longer than I thought it would; had to make a nut plate and it was difficult (very) getting the engine ground bolt off due to accessibility. Attached a couple of pics.Comment
