location of OBDII connector in Esperante?

Can anyone tell me where the OBDII connector is located on the Esperante?

I am about to take my car for state inspection and I would like to know where it is, in case the technician can't find it.

I looked in the engine bay and under the dash and I don't see it. I even have a Mustang repair manual, but it wasn't much help because it just has close-up shots.

It is located on the right side of the knee bolster where it meets the console
