Programming the Home Link System

My Esperante has a mirror with the Home Link System (remote garage door control). It looks just like the one in my Sequioa but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to program it....any ideas?

Home link is built into the rear-view mirror and can be found as an aftermarket item you would purchase one with a Ford wiring connection.
